Fireball K11
Your chance to own a second vintage Fireball at Dell Quay
A truely vintage Fireball, K11, one of the oldest Fireballs still on the water, is for sale. She is mostly in original condition, and although she is an old girl who needs occasional attention to keep on the water, she still sails well and comes in complete racing condition. I use her in club races on Southampton Water and she also sailed at the Peter Milne memorial event in 2009. K11 comes with both trapeze and spinnaker, a heavy-duty top cover, Rapide combi trailer/trolley, two complete sets of sails (Main/Jib/Spinnaker) (Kevlar main seen in photo at extra cost), Proctor D mast, spinnaker chute with pump system, and loads of character. She is class-registered for 2009 and has a current measurement certificate.She needs an owner who is prepared to take on some restoration work, however she is in fully sailing and racing condition already so this will not be onerous for someone with the right skills. She has given me nearly five years of enjoyment during which I have slowly improved her condition. It is also a bonus to own a classic, with many admirers wherever she goes asking if she really is Fireball 11. K11 comes rigged and ready to race. Reasonable offers accepted.
